In the latest match against Al-Ahly, Algeria international Zadine Mahrez scored two goals to extend his club's record and make him the third player in league history with five goals in three games.

The forward calmly took a shot from the left side of the penalty area that hit the back of the net past Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Salah.

The second goal followed later on in the half when Mahrez found himself in space behind Salah and headed into the top corner of the penalty box. The ball bounced off the crossbar before hitting the post and the keeper saved it.

The third goal was a more direct attempt by Mahrez to score but this time he was able to find the back of the net after receiving a free kick from fellow Algerian Ali Fekir. The striker took a quick touch and then turned his body to head home the rebound past Salah.

Mahrez has been a key player for DAMAC since joining the club at the start of last season. He has already made nine appearances for the team and has managed to score four goals. His goal tally is currently tied with Mohammed Salah (12) for the joint highest in the Algerian Premier League.

Despite being a regular starter for DAMAC, Mahrez remains humble about his achievements. "It feels good,Campeonato Brasileiro Action" he said. "I'm happy to be here and I want to keep doing what I do."

Mahrez's performance has not gone unnoticed by his teammates and coach, who have praised him for his hard work and dedication. "He's always working hard," said DAMAC's coach Khaled Al-Aswany. "He's a great player who plays well."
